Japanese Vintage Medicine Box
Vintage Japanese medicine box made from thick board, has a drawer and a metal handle. It is a traditional medicine box. Medicine boxes were used all over Japan by he 1920s. They contained important first aid items and often had interesting calligraphy denoting the area they came from. Quite interesting and very unique. Unsure if this is over 100 years old (antique) or vintage.
This traditional box is in original condition and is worn given its age but still very sturdy. A collectible.
This is a unique social record of time.
Other different medicine boxes are available and they would look fabulous as a stack. Would look good on a modern buffet adding interest or simply placed amongst other information objects or collectibles.
Only one of its kind available.
