Peaceful Warrior
The Peaceful Warrior sculpture is an imposing piece. She is quite commanding and impressive yet she has a peaceful demeanour.
The concept for this piece was about capturing just a few elements of the spirit of a warrior. Specifically this piece aims to capture strength, intensity and the boldness of a warrior however she is about bringing peace rather than opposition.
Artist statement
Dedicated to the warrior in all of us. Centred, strong and imposing with a sense of serenity and calm. Embodied in this Warrior is the virtue of patience, an element of defiance and significant resilience.
Material
Bronze. The Peaceful Warrior has a golden patina.
The Peaceful Warrior can be secured to a solid base. Here she is secured to a solid square marble plinth . This is sold separately for $55.00. This provides the option to allow her to free stand OR she can be secured to this marble base.

About the artist - Shaun Summers
Shaun lives in Sydney and has been sculpting with the Sydney Sculpture School / Artisan Bronze for several years. She has a creative interest in various media however her passion is sculpture. Her sculptural work is figurative. She has recently completed a "Warrior" series.
